Coldwater Charters Offers some of the fastest salmon fishing of the year. April and May in St. Joseph Mi. on Lake Michigan has proved over the years to be one of the hottest spots on Lake Michigan for a spring smorgus board. With Coho starting off the action after ice out, April brings these feeding machines into the warmer shallower water looking for the feed bag. Along with Brown Trout action, doubles and triples can come fast and often. 

As the lake warms , the spring Chinook [ King Salmon ] fishing takes off. With their ravenous appetites, these fish will try to pull your rods right out of the holders. Almost at the same time Offshore Steelhead fishing turns on. With warming waters Offshore meeting cold deep water, it sets up some of the most spectacular aerial shows on the lake. With some Steelhead leaping 6' in the air, you can see this can be a fisherman's dream.  Then in mid June through July, the Skamania Steelhead show up.
