Michigan guided Whitetail hunting

Firearms Deer season is from Nov. 15th through Nov. 30th 2009

Muzzle loading season is from Dec. 4th through Dec 20th 2009

A late antlerless deer season will take place on private land in some Lower Peninsula DMUs from Dec. 21, 2009 through Jan. 1, 2010. Hunters must have a valid private land antlerless deer license (or DMA permit) for one of the open DMUs with an unused kill tag issued in their name to participate in this hunt. Deer may be taken with a bow and arrow, crossbow or firearm.  

This is all private land hunting in Branch county Michigan. No holding fences, all wild situations. There are some big bucks in the areas that you will be hunting. However we do not bill it as a Trophy whitetail hunt. We serve hunters that do not want the hassles of hunting public lands. We have all the blinds ready for all the gun hunts. The reason for this is the safety issue. We want to know where hunters are at all times. These are not stalking hunts. Hunters go to their blinds or stands and hunt there till they shoot one or their hunt is over in the morning or evening. These hunts are not guaranteed. But success has been very good over the years from our locations. We provide the property and the blinds, you provide everything else. All whitetail hunts are semi guided. You will be on your own in the blinds or stands. If you require a guide with you we can accommodate for an extra fee.

Hunting Policy

First of all I would like to thank you for considering us as your guide service. My hunt policy is as follows. Deposit of 50% of the hunt is required within 5 working days of booking. Payment of the balance due for the hunt will happen at our meeting place in the morning before the hunt begins. When hunting wild game there is never a guarantee that the game will do what you expect and present a killing shot. Weather, other hunters and many other factors can have a major bearing on the movement or lack there of on the game being pursued. If you are looking to get a guaranteed hunt, then you may want to look elsewhere.  We provide a professional guiding business and we take allot of pride in what we do. If you have done any amount of hunting you know that sometimes things just don't happen. When this happens, which it does from time to time, we still get paid and no discounts on future hunts. Slow days while hunting or fishing are facts we all know can happen. I spend a great deal of time scouting and gaining access to hot fields. When you hunt with me you can bet that I have done the necessary scouting to provide the best possible situation for a quality hunt, but mother nature has the final say and also sometimes other hunters can disrupt the normal habits of the game being hunted.
